David Courtois - fully licensed master electrician - Houston, TX - (713) 506-0344 (pgr) - David is a super laid back, unbelievably experienced electrician. He mainly works for a couple of builders inside the loop that build in West U and other high-dollar neighborhoods, wiring up their huge new houses. He enjoys golfing and brewing his own beer. He says what means and means what he says. He won't leave you waiting around for him to show up. Good communication skills and does not overbook his time.

The Detering Company - 1234 Center Street, Houston, TX - 713-555-1212 - www.thedeteringco.com - Great source for trim, moulding, doors, and windows. Plywood tends to be much more expensive than Home Depot or Lowes (though they may have a wider range of species). Very limited selection of hardware. Good customer service. Centrally located.
After building houses, restoring turn-of-the-century apartment buildings, and renovating literally dozens of bathrooms and kitchens over the past 10 yrs--we've had a chance to work with some amazing craftsman and tradesman in a variety of fields. This resource page is our way of giving praise to the best!

Just because we've had great experiences with these subs doesn't mean that you should let your guard down. Always work with a contract of some sort and always control the draws to make sure your subs don't get too far ahead of you. Your relationship with your subs needs to be win/win at all times--or no deal. :)
